I saw an Instagram post last week. A "vintage" store selling a dress from 2015. Two thousand fifteen. That dress is ten years old. That's not vintage. That's just old.
Vintage-inspired clothes look like old things. But they don't feel like them. And you can tell the difference the second you touch the fabric.
New clothes are blank. Old clothes come with questions.
I didn't leave fashion because I stopped loving clothes. I left because I stopped believing in new ones.
